Note whether detergent dissolved and whether both spray arms rotate before changing anything.
2. Change one variable at a time
- Reload for spray access. Keep tall items from blocking arms; avoid nested utensils and overlapping bowls.
- Clean and reseat the filter. Follow the model manual so food does not recirculate.
- Inspect spray-arm holes. Disconnect power; remove an arm only when the owner manual describes it.
- Check dishwasher detergent. Use the correct type, fresh product, documented dose, and dispenser.
- Confirm hot-water readiness and cycle. Short or eco cycles may not suit heavily soiled items.
- Run one controlled load. Use documented loading, a clean filter, and one recommended dose; record what remains dirty.
3. Read the stop boundary
No spray water, detergent that never releases, persistently cool operation, unusual noise, codes, or poor results after the controlled test can involve circulation, fill, heating, sensing, or controls.
4. Do not replace a loading problem
